Shane proposed to me last night at Disneyland!! We watched the big fireworks show and moved from the bridge above Pirates to go find a spot down by the water to see Fantasmic. They shoved everybody into a roped-off section where we all sat down and waited for 45 minutes. I had a pen and Shane had a receipt so we started playing tic tac toe.. and then turned to hangman..


I thought he was messing with me. I asked if he was serious and he pulled this ring box out of his pocket.. and I started crying


I can't get a good picture of it because my camera doesn't do macro. It's a blue diamond in the center with two white diamonds on the side.. white gold.
I'm still in a state of shock today. I feel like my head is in a million different places, none of them being on planet Earth. There's so many new things to think about.. I don't know how to go about thinking about all of them.
We're not getting married immediately, I need to wait until I get out of school and find a nice job and get myself stable. He needs to get himself stable with debt. I know things will work themselves out over the next couple years, so hopefully when I graduate we can both be in a good place to "settle down".
I'm pretty happy right now. I'm pretty freaking thrilled actually.
